Mohsen is currently in his first year of the MBA program at MIT Sloan School of Management. Prior to that he served as Manager of Regional Business Innovation at Teach for America where he led efforts to uncover transformational opportunities to invest in and develop new technologies to move Teach for America’s mission forward. Prior to joining Teach for America’s national staff, Mohsen served as a TFA corps member and taught 9th and 10th grade Global History in the South Bronx. Although no longer teaching, Mohsen continues to run a chapter of Junior Achievement at his former school with his students where his mission has been to provide and empower his students with opportunities that connect what they've learned in school to real world work experiences across a wide range of career sectors.
Before joining Teach for America, Mohsen was an analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Mohsen received his Bachelor’s degree from New York University, his Master’s from the Relay Graduate School of Education, and is currently a Level III Candidate in the CFA Program.
Yaffa is currently Managing Editor at the World Policy Journal, as well as a producer for CNN Opinion in response to breaking global news.
Her Fredrick’s career has taken her from the halls of the World Health Organization in Geneva to the Office of the District Attorney in New York. In her prior role at MTV Networks, she created and produced the channel’s first youth journalism show, “Campus Dispatch”— providing a platform for millennials to engage in major global policy discussions. Her segments featured in-depth profiles of Syrian student activists, climate change advocates, and emerging women’s rights organizations.
