We are currently hiring:
MATHEMATICS AND PHYSICAL SCIENCE TEACHER
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate Senior & FET Phase Teacher (Grades 8–10) who believes in the power of education to change lives. This is not a traditional teaching role — you will act as a facilitator of learning, guiding students through a blended, student-centred environment that combines technology, project-based learning, and real-world problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
● Facilitate engaging lessons aligned with CAPS and Streetlight’s innovative curriculum
● Implement blended learning strategies (technology + teacher-led instruction)
● Support personalised learning pathways for each student
● Foster critical thinking, curiosity, and independent learning
● Track and analyse student progress using data-driven tools
● Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance teaching team
● Build strong relationships with learners, parents, and the community
Requirements
● Minimum 2 years teaching experience in the Senior and/or FET Phase
● Relevant teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE or equivalent)
● Experience with blended learning / ed-tech integration (advantageous)
● Strong classroom management and facilitation skills
● Passion for working in diverse, underserved communities
● Growth mindset and willingness to innovate
